About
Journalist,
writer & cook.
Orge Castellano is a Venezuelan-born Basque writer and journalist whose work explores food, identity, and the long memory of displaced cultures. Shaped by the crossroads of Latin American and Sephardic history, he reports on the stories that live at the intersection of heritage, politics, and the kitchen table. His writing has appeared in T Magazine, Sun-Sentinel, Haaretz, The Jerusalem Post, and The Forward, among others. He holds a PhD in Social Communication. When he is not reporting, he is in the kitchen, which, for him, is often the same thing.
